DUNE STOOL | DESERT MUSE COLLECTION
Dune Stool explores the relationship between mass and void. Conceived as a single monolithic volume, its form is defined by a series of carefully carved subtractions, revealing an interplay between interior and exterior.
One variation features an original oil painting set within the carved interior, introducing a sense of intimacy to an otherwise solid, imposing form. The painting creates a sacred inner space, a world held within the object, giving meaning and presence to the space within.
Crafted from solid beech wood with a natural wood veneer finish, the Dune Stool brings together function, sculpture, and space as a one-of-one collectible piece. It invites a different way of experiencing furniture: not simply as an object occupying space, but as a space held within an object.
